Trends to look for this spring

Of course, many of these trends have already started but will be more noticeable in the spring and summer months. As a fashion student, I have seen a lot of these coming but I went through many other resources and pulled out some of the more common ones.

Monochromatic - This is one we have already seen but is not as common as of yet, but it's going to be all over the place this summer. Primarily in sets with tops and either skirts or shorts.

Bright colours are leaving - neutrals and more muted colours are on their way back in, this does not mean to throughout all your brighter hued clothing bur pair them with something more toned down to stay on-trend.

Floral - You can find it big or small, embroidered or sewn on, especially in lace patterns, flowers are everywhere. This pattern is perfect for all your spring/summer outings to add a soft feminine vibe to your outfit. Of course, Taylor may have gone a bit overboard with this idea (but still looked good).

Cutouts - This may sound like an odd trend, but you will notice it the more you look that many tops skirts and dresses will have cut-outs of slits all over the garment. This adds a point of interest to the piece and can make your outfits even more unique.
