Joggers have been around what seems like forever, however, they have never really been highlighted when it comes to wearing them fashionably. Joggers can be fashionable, in fact, they are associated with streetwear which has been a big trend since 2018. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the next trend they will be apart of is a more formalized version of the streetwear trend. Sportcoats and joggers will be what is worn by the new businessman as the late streetwear students enter the workforce.
There is no doubt about it that there is a way to style them for many different occasions, if you are just wearing them around the house then a simple t-shirt works perfectly. However, if you are interested in elevating your jogger style to look trendy but effortless then read on. Yes, it takes time to look effortlessly good! The good thing is that with practice it takes no time at all.
For men joggers can be worn with a t-shirt that has a graphic or pattern on it with a jean jacket or denim button down to look more put together but casual, they can also be worn with a plain shirt or even a henley for a more elevated yet simple look. The key with styling joggers is the colours used. Stay away from wearing crazy bright colours with joggers it often can look sloppy. Wearing more neutral or tinted colours can make joggers look better and even somewhat professional. As well a suit jacket could be worn with a more casual shirt for a casual Friday. In no means am I saying that you should wear joggers to an interview, but in some cases, they may be seen more in the business world in travelling businessmen and in more laidback offices.
On the other hand for women making joggers trendy can be hard as leggings are more commonly accepted. However, with a cute crop top or knot tied graphic tee, the outfit can look more put together. Joggers have also taken on a new style of having a tie belt this style of jogger is already offering a more formal yet casual look -- without the extra work.
Until next time,
