Step 1: Make 4 holes in the belt to make a place for the straps to go. I used silver grommets to create a clean hole for my straps to go through. I bought these grommets (or eyelets) at Michaels as well as the tool kit to install them.
Step 2: Time to make the straps! I was going for a nautical aesthetic so I decided to used thicker macrame rope. You could use any kind of rope that is strong enough to hold all the things you want to put in your bag. You could also make straps out of other jeans or denim but I wanted to use what I had around the house

Step 3: Pin the bottom of the skirt to the length that you want to bag, sew across the line and now the page is done.
Step 4: BONUS! This is additional and does not need to be done but if you have another pair of jeans that are no longer wearable you can use the pockets to add pockets to the inside of the bag for extra storage.

Until next time,
