Embroidery 101

This post is about embroidery and how it can be a simple yet fun way to fix or reinspire your wardrobe. I was worried at first to try to embroidery an image on a shirt, but it is not as hard as it may seem. If you have any sewing training is just a bigger version of hand sewing.

I had a pair of shoes that got a hole in the toe area, I decided to take this as an opportunity to spruce them up. Adding a fun sun to the toe of my plain grey vans, making them more interesting for the summer as well as making them wearable again.

The first thing I learned to embroider was a baby Yoda image on a plain t-shirt. I thought it would be fun as I enjoy Star Wars movies and designing my own clothes. Embroidery can be a great way to really show your personality and make your clothes your own.
